Guidance on Implementing Category-Based Search
Hi everyone,
I’m looking to implement a category-based search feature, similar to what Amazon offers, instead of the standard global search. I’ve been exploring the Spryker framework and have tried debugging the search flow, but I’m having trouble identifying where exactly this functionality should be implemented.
Could anyone please guide me on:
- Which module(s) or files are involved in the search functionality?
- Whether there is any existing feature or configuration in Spryker that supports category-based search out of the box?
Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Doniwal?
The out of the box category management doesn´t suit your requirements?
You can define your main navigation categories in the navigation menu. You can also show the categories tree so users can filter by category. Also catgories are filtered when searching by terms.
You can even define filters for every category in the backoffice
